Xavier Renard is research scientist lead at AXA in the AI research team, focusing on responsible and trustworthy AI and foundation models. His work includes foundation models for weather and climate to model risks of natural catastrophes. He's the co-founder of the AXA-Sorbonne University joint lab on Trustworthy and Responsible AI (TRAIL) and associate research scientist at Sorbonne University’s computer science lab (LIP6). Xavier Renard holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Sorbonne University.
