Garyk Brixi
Garyk Brixi is a Ph.D. student in genetics at Stanford. He focuses on the intersection of machine learning and biology, developing new methods to learn from biological sequences. Garyk has a degree in applied math from Harvard University. His prior work has spanned the genetics of human disease, machine learning for protein engineering, and connecting statistical and deep learning models of proteins. Garyk is passionate about applying science for human benefit, and he previously developed amino acid fortified malnutrition treatment and prevention with Valid Nutrition.
