Naseema Shyju is a senior scientist at Space42, with expertise in atmospheric measurement techniques and numerical modeling across the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia. She earned her Ph.D. in physics, specializing in atmospheric aerosols, from the Space Physics Laboratory, VSSC, India. Naseema is proficient in designing innovative weather solutions for disaster management, hydrological modeling, and air quality forecasting, using cutting-edge technologies and data integration. She has demonstrated excellence in numerical weather, dust, irradiance, and hydrological modeling, with expertise in fine-tuning advanced tools such as WRF, CHIMERE, WRF-HYDRO, and WRF-SOLAR. Her work addresses regional challenges, including extreme weather events, flood mapping, dust storms, and renewable energy forecasting.
